"IGO"
This ARTICLE is highly fruitful for UPSC aspirants as well as for them who want to develop their General Knowledge.
DEAR READERS,
TODAY LET ME SHARE SOME INTERESTING INFORMATION WITH YOU ALL.
Have you ever wondered? What is 'IGO' and how was it established?
An international governmental organization (IGO), also referred to as an intergovernmental organization, is an organization with a membership of only states. The organization is usually founded upon a treaty, or a multilateral agreement, and consists of more than two states. Member states determine the way in which the organization is run, vote within the organization and provide its funding.
Established in 1945 following the end of the Second World War, the United Nations (UN) is a prime example of an international governmental organization with almost universal membership. Only states can be members of the United Nations and membership is valued because it confers upon the member state international recognition of its sovereignty. As of 2017 there are 193 UN member states – but it is important to note that a small number of states are not members. Taiwan, for example, has repeatedly requested membership but has had its request blocked by China. This is because China regards Taiwan as a part of its sovereign territory and does not recognize it as an independent nation. Taiwan, of course, wants United Nations membership because this will mean that the international community fully accepts its sovereignty. The Taiwan example has gone unresolved for decades due to the major role that China plays within the United Nations as one of its most powerful members.
There are six main organs of the United Nations. Once a state is a member, it is automatically a member of the General Assembly. This is the most democratic organ where each state gets one vote, no matter how big or small, rich or poor the country. It is also the place where, every September, world leaders give their address to the international community from behind a dark green podium with the UN crest clearly visible. The other organs are the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the Trusteeship Council, the Secretariat and the International Court of Justice. By far the most powerful organ is the Security Council, which has 15 members. Five states – China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States – are permanent members of the Security Council. The other ten are voted in by the General Assembly for two-year tenures. The Security Council is the only organ that can impose sanctions on states or deploy military forces on behalf of the international community to keep the peace in a certain area, region or country. The United Nations itself does not have its own military force, but it can muster military and police personnel through contributions by its members. These UN peacekeepers are distinguished by their trademark blue helmets, giving rise to the nickname ‘Blue Berets’.

SUCCESS
“Success is not an event,
It’s a thought process”.
When you Walk up to the door of success don't knock it, just kick the door and introduce yourself.
*What is the true success?
*How to lead a successful life?
*Why only few people are successful and most are not?
*What is the secret formula to success?
These questions are hovering in the minds of millions. Everyone wants to become successful, gain name and fame. Nobody likes failure. Some people think if they get a big bank balance, a beautiful life mate, luxurious car and house, they will become successful. I have seen a lot of people who have a big bang balance but have broken relationships. Is it really success? True success comes when you achieve success in health, wealth, relation and spirituality. These are considered as the 4 pillars of a successful, happy and healthy life.
A 16 years old boy from Bihar lost his mother. Then after he studied at Delhi College of Engineering with 7th rank in entrance exam. In third year of engineering he left college and came to Mumbai he worked hard to support his family and remove all sorrow. His hard work and determination made him the best youth actor in Bollywood. He is none other than Sushant Singh Rajput. The only cure to remove sadness was to keep on working.
NOW HERE I WOULD LIKE SHARE 8 remedies for living successful life:
# Find your strength:
“Success is not the key to happiness; happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful”. When you feel like giving up dream, Force yourself to work another day, another week, a year, and you’ll be amazed what happiness you get, when you don’t give up.
# No excuse please:
If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.
# Fight your fear:
“Knowing is not enough, we must apply
willing is not enough, we must do”
# Don’t keep your work for tomorrow:
Now, make rest of your life best of your life.
# Stay hungry to gain knowledge.
# Think big:
What you are now is the dream of past and what you become in future is the dream of present.
Think little goals and expect little achievements. Think big goals and win big success.
People say that you’re going wrong way when it's simply a way of your own.
What is Google or Facebook today?...... because someone had a big dream in the past.
Really every achievement starts with thinking big.
# Practise Forgiveness:
Forgiving and apologizing is better than regretting.
# Work for people instead of working for money:
People earn money in the exchange of their service. But the real fact is, the money you earn won't exist forever. The blessings of people for you and for your great work nurture you into an eminent personality. The happiness is just for a limited period of time the real happiness comes by the positive Vibes given by that person to you as a blessing, whom you are helping.
“When our ‘signature’ changes to ‘Autograph’ this marks the success”. -This was quoted by our former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
Thank you!

GOOGLE TULIP
The Netherlands team of Google has developed of software with which humans can communicate with plants! Google Tulip uses artificial intelligence to build data into the software, characterizing the emotions of plants----whether they are thirsty, meaning they are in need of water, or whether they are happy with the amount of Sunlight they are receiving. The developers call it the process of 'decoding the language of plants and flowers'. The principle of artificial intelligence used here is called machine learning, and as the future progresses, more and more machines will 'learn' how to invoke emotions mimicking that of humans.

THE MILKY WAY WEIGHED
Weighing the MILKY WAY in the conventional way ----- by putting it on a scale ----- is certainly an absurd idea. But astronomers have found away to do it ----- by measuring the three-dimensional movement of objects called globular star clusters in our galaxy and have come up with one of the most accurate measurements yet of our galaxy’s mass.
Using NASA’s Hubble Space telescope and the European Space Agency’s Gaia satellite, an international team of astronomers 1st announced a year back in March that they have come up with a figure of about 1.5 trillion (1.5 x 10^12) times the mass of the SUN as the mass of the Milky Way. But only a few per cent of this is mass contributed by the approximately 200 billion stars in the Milky Way and includes a 4-million-solar-mass super massive black hole at the centre. Most of the rest of the mass is in the form of dark matter, an invisible and mysterious substance that acts like scaffolding throughout the universe and keeps the stars in their galaxies.

YOUTH IN POLITICS
Updation is always advisable to any this likewise that Indian politics can also be updated with the involvement of the youth. India has the strongest weapon that is its youth. Youth should enroll in the politics as they are the backbone of the country. There is a dearth of young politics. In the modern era where youth have knowledge to identify the wrong and right thing. The Greatest leaders of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and Swami Vivekananda predicated the country’s development is completely dependent on the youth. Hence youth must take responsibility and actively participate in all fields to develop the country. I would like to say that politics should be an amalgamation of both the youth and the aged and experienced people. Though there are snollygoster politicians but still the honest ones can help out & achieve overall upliftment of the nation. As we know that the leaders need not do different things, it would be sufficient if they can do things differently. And this is what we need now.
There is a word GERONTROCRACY 50% of India - under age 25 65% of India - under age 35 75% of India - above 50
The political parties are filled with aged old men & women who often look like members of exclusive pensioners club.
According to DEMOGRAPHY
In year 2000 - 350 million Indians were between 15-34 yrs.
By year 2030 - 485 million Indians will be between 15-34 yrs.
According to latest sensex 2011 which tells that average ages by 2020 various countries:
INDIA – 29 years (youngest)
CHINA – 37 years
UNITED STATES – 45 years
UNITED KINGDOM - 45 years
CHINA – 49 years
And average age of an Indian MP IS 63 yrs.
~ 543 total Lok Sabha members.
~ 71 members (under 40 yrs. of age)
~ 35 members (under 30 yrs. of age)
And we all still call it a representative DEMOCRACY?
*For going into politics there should be no criminal record.
*But out of 543 members of the parliament in Lok Sabha 185 MP’s have criminal cases. A serious criminal case does mean that the case that has long term prison.
SO WHO ARE WE ELECTING?
Youth that is coming to politics is just because it has a political background like Chirag Paswan, Aditiya Tackery, Rahul Gandhi and many.
We need the youth coming from between the common people.
DEMONSTRATIONS ……..
PROTESTS………
CANDLE LIGHT MARCHES ………
WON’T HELP
Want to bring some change? Come let’s sit in the PARLIAMENT!

ME IN THE LOCKDOWN-Story of a girl student
Summertime is the most awaited time of any student’s life. It gives them a break from the scorching sun and blazing heat. The summer months are quite hot, however, students love them because they bring a sense of calmness due to the vacations. It frees them from the monotonous and dull routine of school and studies. But this time it’s a slit change in are schedules as we are going through the lockdown period due COVID- 19 pandemic which has spread worldwide and taking many lives with it.
The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in serve economic and social impacts around the world. Young people are particularly vulnerable to the disruptions the pandemic has caused and many are now at risk of being left behind in education, economic opportunities, and health and wellbeing during a crucial stage of their life development. Young people are more likely to be unemployed or to be in precious job contracts and working arrangements, and thus, lack adequate social protection. At the same time, young people are responding to the crisis through public health promotion, volunteering and innovation. Young people will form a key element in an inclusive recovery and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) during this Decade of Action. However, the response and recovery must be done in a way that protects the human rights of all youth.
As are prime minister said that we all have to stay at home and stay safe and maintain social distancing and be very careful during this period of pandemic. We all need to take up are responsibilities very seriously which will help us to overcome this dangerous disease which is taking up many lives and spoiling many of them .This is the time when we need to we need to stand together against this disease by maintaining are surrounding sanitized and clean and follow the government guidelines.NOW BEING AT HOME MIGHT BE SOUNDING BORING ……
So I decided to make myself involve as creativity addictive of creations and edifications……
So here starts my story during the lockdown period…………..
I actually didn’t had much work to do when the lockdown is continuing in timings of our summer vacation also but still in an appreciating way schools have given summer break…..incontestably my school is also adorable as it also gave a break which has started so I did not really got tried so a little sleep was enough to feel fresh in the morning. Well what I really wanted to tell you is that I rose up in the morning…...of course it was a great news for my parents!!
Exercising improves strength and agility and can help build your immunity in times like these. Meditation can help you distress and relax. It will help you inculcate a lot of energy and boost your stamina. Also, do not forget to maintain a healthy diet. This was the thing that I did in the morning waking up early. “Oh my god” this was reaction of my mother watching me exercising early morning.
If you would like to know how it feels to be in the hospitality during this corona virus pandemic? Remember when the TITANIC was sinking and the band continued to play?... well we’re the BAND
The Corona virus (Covid-19) outbreak has been devastating, globally. Of that, we can all agree. With the casualties rising, worrying press conferences, small businesses shuttering for the foreseeable and an over-extended health service, there's not been a lot of positive news to come out of the pandemic, naturally.
Well my next activity was not surprising for my parents because next they saw me planting mini plants in small painted pots. Obviously this is the best time to spend with my family. During my busy school live, I may not get enough time to talk to my family and spend quality time with them. Helping my parents in the household chores or spend some extra time with my grandparents was another pleasure of the lockdown period. Oh! Next comes my most treasured work which no doubly is PAINTING - this is a natural form of expression and can be calming and meditative. It soothes my mind and is a creative way to express myself. Now comes the horrible and unwanted hour of my day to spend the time with my sibling who is just a year older than me now may you think that why is it unwanted? So my dear I would like to tell you that he will be just terrifying me by is humorless jokes… “Corona virus doesn’t effect rat and snake so my dear sister you do not need to actually worry as you are save” now I am very sure that you’ll be inarguably agreeing that I was right.
After so much of humiliation up next was really a fascinating and captivating activity which came into existence recently soon after the lockdown …oh! Yes I am talking about mastering new skills and acquiring knowledge about a foreign language- FRENCH…. “ JOUER À DES JEUX ANCIENS en famille est intéressant” sorry for sounding wearied but this is something not wrong my dear readers I have actually wrote that playing old games with the family, as matter of fact quiet entrancing. However, the charm of the good old monopoly board or the chessboard is still the same. And I thought that this is the best time to get back in touch with these evergreen board games.
No matter what anyone says, but these hours spent with the family were not less than golden hours of life because this busy scheduled life never gave time for our caring family.
