why we shouldn't form our opinions on the basis of others' opinions ;)
Deuce:What's your favorite colour?
Lan:pink
Deuce:isn't that too girly?
Lan:*nervous laughter*
I know right, just kidding man, it's blue.
It's just sad how it only took one sentence to make Lan change one of the key aspects that defines who he is. After reading this, what do we know about Lan?
bro don't keep reading.put your device down, and take two seconds to think about it, let's see how much of a psychologist you are.
Alright done?
I'm not experienced, but what I know of Lan is that he's easily manipulated,he's easily influenced and he can't stand by what he believes, now if everyone start being Lan, then there will no room for debates and competitive discussionshis.
doesn't really sound convincing to some of the mediocres reading this right?
So let me rephrase that.
Would you like yourself to be called a person with no opinions of himself/herself and a "yes sir" or would you like yourself to be called an alpha, who puts forward what he/she thinks and doesn't give two cares about how others will perceive it.
There's more to life than pleasing others.
Now I'm not saying you completely ignore what others say, no, what you do is you keep an open mind, think about what you believe is right and put it forward, people might counter your opinions, but if you really think you're right and believe it with all your heart, then it's super easy to defend yourself.
Now tell me,
Rather ask yourself, who are you?are you an alpha or a Lan?
The answer everyone will choose is alpha and the interesting part backing up what I said is that if you're an alpha, you'll continue to be an alpha and if you're Lan,you were manipulated to being an alpha.
