India's Diplomatic Win On Kashmir Internationally,But Has Modi Succeeded Domestically?
The first major political exercise happened in Union Terriotary of Jammu and Kashmir(Indian Administered JnK)after changing status of Jammu and Kashmir from Semi-Autonomous to Centrally Admimistrated Union Terriotary was the District Development Council (DDC) Elections.

Total no of seats contested 280.Result declared on 278 seats.

All the political parties contesting in elections has accepted the results,also regional parties of JnK as well as BJP has said that it was a "Victory of Democracy". Although both BJP and PAGD has claimed victory.
Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi took this opportunity to showcase not only Indians but also International Community that he has fulfilled his commitment of bringing grass root democracy as well as development in Jammu and Kashmir by conducting DDC elections,the promise he had made to Indian's as well as International Community of helding elections in Jammu and Kashmir soon when Artical 370 was revoked on 5th August 2019.
While the Jammu and Kashmir DDC election result is a huge setback for Islamabad,as all National Parties of India as well as Regional Parties of JnK has agreed that the DDC elections were free and fair elections.
Instead Opposition Parties of Pakistan has officially said that previously the elections held in Gilgit-Baltistan(Pakistan Administered Kashmir) was rigged and has protested against ruling PTI govt also huge public protest was held in Gilgit-Baltistan after Election result was declared.
On the other hand UNSC and International Community has accepted New Delhi's efforts for normalcy and development in Kashmir.
While Mr Modi and his govt had succeeded in potraying a positive image of Kashmir internationally,but domestically has to do more and should held talks with regional parties of Kashmir as well as National Parties of Opposition to take them along in the development of Jammu and Kashmir.
