If you ask a common Indian person about Russia -India relation then answer will be -"Russia is India's best friend".
Any bilateral relation is all about fulfilling the national interests. On this line, recently,Russia has planned a military exercise " Druzhba-V" with Pakistan. It is a counter terrorrism exercise.
Experts are saying that this shows Russia's closeness towards Pakistan and it is a clear warning to India's foreign policy.
If you have a close look over this exercise then you will understand that Pakistan which uses Terrorism as its state's policy is participating in a counter Terrorism activity.Similarly, Russia which talks about Good and Bad Taliban has initiated this exercise.
What if India conducts defence exercises with Japan near to Sakhalin Island.?
Similarly what if India conducts a military exercise with Ukraine near to Crimean peninsula? You all know the reactions of Russia after these steps.
Why should India care about it? This closeness may share military tactics and arms between two countries .At the end ,Pakistan may put challenges on Indo-Pak Border. A further closeness may affects India's interests at United nation due to veto power of Russia.
India follows realism with idealism in its foreign policies. This country knows how to balance Palestine with Israel,Bangladesh with Myanmar etc.Russia can not ignore world's largest democracy and a 5th largest economy. So it is better to understand this global order practically and ensure fulfillment of India's interests.
What ideas do you have on this ?
The supreme court of India recognises transgender people as third gender. Is this enough for this community?
The same court declared these people as socially and economically backward and asked the centre to provide reservation in jobs and education.
But,You can see the insensitivity of the centre in the transgender person act,2019.
One may assume that being a transgender is a psychological problem and this community acts like a thief and abuses the people while demanding money in the buses, trains etc.
Some Other people may say that transgenders should do jobs and earn money. I want to counter this through an example. The Kerala government provided opportunity of jobs for them in Kochi metro but nobody was willing to rent out houses to them.
Where is the problem? I think it is about mindset and we are not ready to treat them equally. We think that empowering them can disturb the harmony of Society. One day, I talked to this community personally and I got reply--. " we want respect and people are not ready to give this.we are not happy to earn money by clap and abuse routine. If you suggest me some other ways to live a dignified life then we are ready"
Although,we see many good examples where transgenders are doing well( Jyoti mondal as first transgender judge) but we need to work hard for justice to them.
Guys,What do u think? What can be done for them?
Are we intolerant? Why should we care about Tanishq Ad that was released but discontinued recently.
There are two groups in which one group is calling this ad as an example of secularism and Hindu-Muslim unity.
Other group says this ad promotes love jihad and why only woman is Hindu not vice versa?
This issue is not black and white but
needs deeper analysis. If it is supported on the basis of secularism then why only one religion or Gender is targeted.
The supreme court of India once said--" A woman doesn't mortgage herself to a man by marrying him"
This shows how identity is important then why marriages force a woman to change her name( we have seen cases like Ayesha(Anjana) recently in Lucknow. Isn't it a patriarchy?
No doubt,we have a fundamental duty (Article 51A) to promote scientific temper and spirit of tolerance. One tanishq ad should impact our belief in brotherhoodness and togetherness.
According to me,if a secular person can raise voice against the withdrawal of Tanishq Ad then why silence over the issues like killing of Rahul Rajput and Fatwa against a girl chanting Sanskrit slokas. The Indian secularism is not about selectivism but equal respect to all religion.
Guys, how would you see this issue?
"My love for my country is my religion"
Here religion is simply a system of faiths or beliefs which are towards a country.
What if my religious sentiments are against my country's interests? I am talking about protests against France in India over the issue of hurting Islamic sentiments. We can recall the khilafat movement (1919) and know the nature of development in India.
Every Indian will accept that India is the most secular country globally and the religious freedoms(Articles 25-28) come under Fundamental rights. Currently, people are using freedom of speech and expression(Article 19) to protest against France. But,these protests have the elements of religion which are going against the national interests these days.
No doubt, we can protest against the religious discriminations but we should also remember our national duties as well. Every Indian has fundamental duty to uphold and protect the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India(Article 51A).Other than this,we have responsibility to respect India's global image.
These days,we are witnessing marriages between religion and politics. Some political leaders are coming ahead to justify terrorism for vote banks.
According to me,every religion teaches peace and humanity but it's followers go for different interpretations.Being a religious person is not bad but tolerance should be an important element in beliefs and faiths.
Secularism has different models(France has its own model of secularism) so every country should also respect the sentiments of the people. Religion is not a hindrance in the national development if utilized properly.
Guys,what do you think?
"Being Anti extremist is not Anti Muslim"
India supports France in terms of actions against terrorism and anti social elements.
But,many so called rational people and democrats are supporting terrorism by giving religious justifications.
Leaders are saying that Islam is in danger and every Muslim should be one against France.
I want to ask some important questions. Why these people are silent over the issue of Uighur Muslims of China? Are these Muslims not important for Turkey and Pakistan like countries and protestors in India.
We have to understand that Turkey has enmity with France and religion is being used to fulfill political interests. Some politicians and intellectuals are exploiting the existing conditions to become heroes among the Muslims.
It is accepted that nobody has right to hurt the sentiments of any religion.Because of some individuals coming from specific religion,France can not blame whole religion. The current president of France is losing charisma among the people hence he might use religion to unite the French citizens for vote banks.
At the same time,we should be optimistic and rational while deciding our future actions. Islam teaches brotherhoodness but narrow minded individuals are dividing the Society in the name of religion. India being a great country, has clear stand against terrorism.

"A huge respect for all women who are practicing Karva Chauth".....
Karva Chauth is an important cultural practice in some parts of India. It started as a practice by women for the well being of their husbands.
Irrespective of respect and status in the marriage relations, women worship their husbands. This strengths the notion of "Pati Devo Bhav".
Such traditions must be promoted in the Society for a better married life.
It is better to understand the beliefs and faiths in the rituals and traditions. This practice involves the gathering of women and men and the people share their values among themselves. This also makes the married life more peaceful.
However, We can raise the questions on this tradition as well.
Why only women have to show loyalty towards their husbands not vice versa?Isn't it a patriarchy? Which tradition is for Husbands to pray for the well being of their wives?
Although, some husbands are also practicing this tradition and this must be continued because a happy married life needs shared responsibility of both Husband and wife. It must be a choice not burden and non followers should not be eclipsed by social stigmas.

Does talking about the burning of Manusmriti a threat to Hinduism?
"women must be honoured and adorned and where women are revered, there the gods rejoice".
The above statement is written in Manusmriti but it may be a surprise for some people.
Recently,a question was asked in KBC regarding the burning of Manusmriti by Dr.B.R.Ambedkar. A protest is going on against Mr.Amitabh Bachchan who asked this question.
The people are saying that this question is dividing the Society and Dr.Ambedkar is glorified as Anti Hindu. This also creates a rift between Hinduism and Buddhism.
Talking about evils of any religion is not bad but you also have responsibility to ensure peace and harmony in the Society. A right person and a right place are needed to say the truth otherwise it will be misinterpreted.
Every religion has some negative elements but if you follow selectivism then people will question your intentions.
What if similar questions are asked regarding Islam, Christianity,Jainism etc.in KBC?
Although wrongs can not be justified anymore but a single literature like Manusmriti can't be a representative of Hinduism. This literature provided just a code of conduct and was not mandatory but today, some people are trying to enforce the ideology of Manusmriti which is not applicable.
Dr.Ambedkar burnt Manusmriti because it glorified Brahminism and provided derogatory remarks against Dalits and women.
Hinduism can't be under threat by a question on Manusmriti. We should also care about the impacts of one's action on the people coming from different beliefs and level of understandings.

The Allahabad high court says "A religious conversion isn’t necessary for marriage"
Recently, the states like UP, Haryana Karnataka talked about a law to counter Love Jihad....
Is this law enough to counter the evil of love Jihad?
Everyone will appreciate this step because it will protect the rights of women and thier religious identities. Here, religion is used to change the demography of India. It also has political supports and hence became a controversial issue today.
One may put some questions in front of these states...Why this law if special marriages act has been already enacted? This law promotes interreligious marriages and there is no need to change one's religion for marriage.
Isn't it a way to hide failures in implementing this act effectively?
How many political parties have punished their leaders who supported Love Jihad for vote banks?
This may discourage girls and boys to choose their life partners from different religions.
Today,we are witnessing honour killings despite having various laws and institutions.Besides, such attempt may trigger communalism and ultimately we all will be victims.
Still, we should be optimistic but it is important to note that justice needs a good intention which can counter the propaganda of love Jihad(No love at all).
What can be done according to you?
