Woman And Two Daughters Died After Being Hit By Train
On Tuesday, a woman and her two minor daughters were killed, and two of their relatives were injured when a train hit Delhi's Shivaji Bridge and Tilak Bridge, a Northern Railway official said. Northern Railway Chief PRO Deepak Kumar said that the accident happened at around 7:40 pm. Later, the Office of the DCP, Railways, stated that Arun Mandal, along with his wife, daughter, his sister-in-law, and his two daughters, got off the train at Tilak Bridge railway station. As they were walking on the railway track towards the Shivaji Bridge railway station to catch a train to Bahadurgarh, they were hit by the train coming from New Delhi railway station. While Mandal survived unwell, his sisters-in-law Alka and his daughters Lovli, 13 and Priya, 5 died of injuries at the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. His wife and daughter are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
