More Than 100 Trains Are Running Late Due To Fog In Delhi
The officials said on Friday that more than 100 trains were running late due to fog in Delhi, affecting rail traffic under Northern Railway. Northern Railway comprises five divisions Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, and Chandigarh in Ambala, Delhi, Ferozepur, Lucknow, and Moradabad. Delhi recorded a temperature of 6.4 degrees Celsius with thick fog on Friday. Visibility was reduced significantly due to dense fog. It was zero in Palam and 300 meters in Safdarjung, 5.30 am. Trains from Delhi to Tundla, Rewari, Agra, Ambala Moradabad, Saharanpur, Bhatinda have all been affected by fog. Officials said a total of 109 trains are facing delays.
