In Mumbai, which is counted among the safest cities of the country, there has been an increase of 22% rape and 51% molestation cases in the last 4 years. The important point is that 69% of the victims of rape are minors. This was revealed in the report made on the basis of survey of NGO Praja Foundation. POCSO is involved in cases of rape or molestation of minors. NGO founder Nitai Mehta reported on Thursday that under POCSO alone, 69 victims of sexual offenses recorded in 2018-19 were under 6 years old. He claimed that 90% of the culprits in the POCSO case went to the victim's identity. Of these, father, son and brother were accused in 14 cases in the last one year, while in 39 cases, they were sexually abused by family friends. Social media friends raped 284 cases. According to Mehta, 'This is not a law and order problem. It is necessary to take immediate steps at several levels and forums to deal with this matter. The most surprising thing is that when the survey was done in 22,845 houses, the families of many victims did not even file a police complaint. That is why the number of criminal cases is higher than the data recorded in police stations.

Let me tell you that none of the BJP, Congress and NCP had fielded their candidates this time, due to which Shiv Sena's corporator Kishori was elected unopposed. The fast-paced teenager has been elected corporator from the Lower Parel area. This is his third term at BMC. The aggressive-style teenager Pednekar is known for his cheerful temperament. As soon as he took office, he met Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray. Apart from Kishori, Shiv Sena's Suhas Vadakarand was elected to the post of Deputy Mayor. After the breakup of Shiv Sena and BJP, it was expected that the first battle between the two parties would be seen here but it did not happen. After long speculations, plan to shift the bullet train terminus in Mumbai finally came to an end. Now the bullet train terminus will not be shifted from Bandra. According to the central government, there are no plans to relocate the proposed bullet train terminus from Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said this in the Rajya Sabha. In fact, MP Kumar Ketkar had asked the question in Rajya Sabha whether the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) had suggested railways to build bullet train terminus on their land in Dadar or Bandra and not in Bandra Kurla Complex. Kumar Ketkar also wanted to know how much revenue was lost. If the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority gives land in the Bandra Kurla Complex to the Railways, then a loss of 48,000 crores was expected. Significantly, the bullet train is the dream project of the Modi government and the layout of this project has been prepared. It is being told that by March 2020 the work of bullet train project will be started and by December 2023 the project will be completed. The project to run the bullet train between Ahmedabad-Mumbai was started with the cooperation of Japan and ground survey is going on now.
