As indicated by the police, the 38-year-elderly person works for a main displaying firm, a report in the Indian Express read. Police said the charged Praful Mahadik, had sent her a companion demand in 2016, yet she didn't acknowledge it and blocked him. A police official from Bandra police station added that an executive from Vikhroli-based movers and packers company, Javed, told Mr Chhillar that he would visit his house and make plans on the shifting charges. After inspecting the household goods, Javed gave Rs 75,000. Following negotiations, Javed brought down the estimate to Rs 58,000 stating that the company was giving a discount in case the family had any senior citizen, the officer added.

As per latest reports, two people got killed on November 21 as they were suspected of cattle burglary in Cooch Behar area of West Bengal. The report added that around 14 people have been detained for their supposed participation in the said episode. The two people got killed on Thursday in the Mathabanga region of Cooch Behar when Rabiul Islam and Prakash Das were carrying two cows in a van. The police officials said that a crowd of people blocked the way and stopped the van and in this way, they got successful in recovering the cows, which it claimed were taken from the region a few days back. The cows were being taken to smugglers of cows.
The police took them to a hospital where they were declared dead. The West Bengal Assembly had given nod to the West Bengal (Prevention of Lynching) Bill, 2019, which is awaiting governor's nod.
