Will ensure accused, if found guilty, is hanged soon, says CM Thackeray
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Monday said his legislature would guarantee the charged in the Hinganghat case if found guilty, is hanged soon.
"We will demonstrate the crime of the denounced at the earliest opportunity and the charged will be hanged soon," said Thackeray while conversing with media people.
Eight days after she was set on fire by a stalker, 24-year-old instructor Ankita Pisudde from Hinganghat in Wardha region succumbed to her injuries on Monday morning. Ankita was hailed and set ablaze by charged Vikesh Nagrale (28) close to a transport remain at Hinganghat on February 3.
Thackeray further said the state government is contemplating Andhra Pradesh's Disha Act and whether a few revisions can be made to make stringent laws with the goal that nobody sets out to carry out such violations. The CM, who has designated advocate Ujjwal Nikam as Special Public Prosecutor in the Hinganghat case, guided the police to finish the examination as quickly as time permits to give rapid equity to the injured individual's family.
