Examinations in Lucknow University will start from March 16
Lucknow University's annual examinations will be from 16 March to 30 April. The university on Wednesday released the BA, BAC and BCom second and third year exam schedule.
The examination program will also be available in Lucknow University's website www.lkouniv.ac.in, www.luonline.in and related departments.
The BSC and BCom exams will be held in the second shift i.e. from 2:30 pm to 5.30 pm and the BA exam in the first shift between 8 am and 11 am. Laviv has implemented its semester system.

Car bike collision, 2 died

UP government's Kanya Sumangala Scheme in Amethi
For the education and protection of the girl child, 18 thousand girls of the Amethi will get the benefit of Kanya Sumangala scheme run by the state government.
Under the scheme, 15 thousand rupees will be given to the girls in various installments from birth to higher education. The Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana was launched in August 2019 by the state government for girl education and security.
In the letter that came in the past, the government had set a target of giving benefits of this scheme to 18 thousand girls in the district. Director Provision had sent a letter of target setting to the district administration asking them to register the eligible girls and cover the scheme.
After getting the letter of the director and the instructions of the district administration, the district promotion officer's office asked the people to apply under the scheme. Following the request of the department, so far applications have been made on behalf of the parents of 7,672 girls.
The responsibility of checking applications received and applying for eligible girls has been given to Health Department, Basic Education Department, District Program Department and Secondary Education Department.
Dead of a boy found roadside
The body of a boy was found at the bottom of a small pool on the roadside in Huzurpur area on Friday. The local people informed the police about this, after which the police reached the spot and took the body of the boy and sent it for the post-mortem and started further investigation.
According to the information, the deceased has been identified as Sonu (19) son Santosh Kumar. It is being told that Sonu's father is a well known businessman of Bahraich.
The police have registered a case following the complaint of Sonu's father and started further investigation.

UP's new Chief Secretary
On Saturday, IAS officer Rajendra Kumar Tiwari has been appointed as the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath appointed 1984-batch IAS officer Anup Chandra Pandey as the Chief Secretary of the state on 30 June 2018.
When the retirement date of Anoop Chandra Pandey came in February 2019, the government extended the service for six months with the consent of the Center. He was the Chief Secretary of the state for one year and two months.
With the completion of the service extension period on 31 October 2019, Anup retired. After which Rajendra Kumar Tiwari took the position, he has now been made the full-time Chief Secretary.
Report of inquiry of school buses given to RTO
The Divisional Transport Office (RTO) has launched a campaign against unfit school buses. Under this, 68 vehicles were found to be against the standards in the initial action itself. The RTO seized five vehicles and made them stand in the police station. 68 vehicles found against the standard have been invoiced.

Pest control poisonous gas killed husband and wife in Pune
A couple was dead due to poisonous gas of pest control. When they returned home back after the pest control they did not open the windows and doors of the house. Due to which after sometime they felt restless and they died after reaching in the hospital.
In Maharashtra, an incident has been reported of the death of husband and wife due to poisonous gas of pest control. The incident is from Bibwewadi area of Pune. Where husband and wife died a few hours after controlling the pest in the house. After spending a few hours in a relative's house, 64-year-old Arvind Majli and 54-year-old Aparna Majli came back to their house at 7 pm. They did not open the windows and doors of the house. Due to which the poison gas of the pest control did not come out. After some time, both of them started feeling restless.
According to the investigating officer, when their daughter came home, both the husband and wife were lying unconscious. With the help of neighbors, both were taken to a private hospital. On reaching the hospital, the doctor declared both the husband and wife dead.
At present, the police has started investigating the matter and is interrogating the agency that controls the pest. Police is investigating which medicines were used in pest control and whether the medicines were certified or not. With this, the forensic team of the incident will also be investigated.
RPF arrested 300 agents who used to illegally book Tatkal Tickets
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has arrested 300 agents in raids in different parts of the country, they were involved in the booking of Tatkal tickets for the railway. These people used fake IDs along with IRCTC's user ID and password and hack the system.
The gang, which was involved in the booking of Tatkal tickets for the railway, was exposed two weeks ago. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has now arrested 300 agents in raids in different parts of the country. Of this 48 are from Mumbai only. Tickets worth about 21 lakh rupees have also been recovered from these people. Explain that despite the online system, these people used to book tickets incorrectly and sell it at expensive prices.

Using unauthorized software, these people used to book more than half of the total tickets available in just 50 seconds.
RPF Director General Arun Kumar said, "The system will continue to act against the people who booked tickets by hacking the system." 300 agents have been arrested in just two days. He also informed that the Central Railway has so far recovered tickets worth about Rs 11 lakh. At the same time, Western Railway has recovered tickets worth about Rs 10 lakh.
