On February 29, the foundation stone of Bundelkhand Expressway will be laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Bharatkup in Chitrakoot. At a cost of 14849.09 crore, the 296.070 km long expressway will connect the Bundelkhand region with Delhi by road.

The Yogi government has decided to build the Bundelkhand Expressway from Bhartakup in Chitrakoot to Agraura-Lucknow Expressway's Kutrail village in Agra-Lucknow Expressway for the all-round development of the Bundelkhand region.
This 296.070 km long expressway will pass through Chitrakoot, Banda, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jalaun, Auraiya and Etawah districts. After the Bundelkhand Expressway is built, the people there will directly connect with Delhi via this route. This 4-lane wide expressway will be expanded to 6 lanes in future.
The width of the expressway's right of way is 110 meters. A 3.75 meter wide service road will also be built on one side of the expressway. The total cost of the expressway to be constructed in eight packages is Rs 14849.09 crore.

Basic Education Council office will be shifted to Lucknow
Soon the Basic Education Council office will be shifted from Prayagraj to Lucknow, for which the State Government has issued an order. Apart from this, Section Education Officers and Clerical cadre personnel under Section of Directorate of Basic Education will also be transferred to Lucknow Section and Office of Controller of Basic Education Council.
These offices will be shifted from Prayagraj to Directorate of Literacy, Lucknow. The order for transfer to other offices including Basic Education Council has been issued by Additional Chief Secretary Renuka Kumar.
The order said that the transfer of offices has been done keeping in mind the administrative ease, workability and economy. It was informed that on 26 July 2019, a proposal was received from the Director of Education Basic to transfer these offices to Lucknow. After which this decision has been taken after considering this proposal.
