A technical survey on statistical model Kolkata
A technical survey on statistical modelling and design methods for crowdsourcing quality control
Online crowdsourcing provides a scalable and inexpensive means to collect knowledge (e.g. labels) about various types of data items (e.g. text, audio, video). However, it is also known to result in large variance in the quality of recorded responses which often cannot be directly used for training machine learning systems. To resolve this issue, a lot of work has been conducted to control the response quality such that low-quality responses cannot adversely affect the performance of the machine learning systems. Such work is referred to as the quality control for crowdsourcing. Past quality control research can be divided into two major branches: quality control mechanism design and statistical models. The first branch focuses on designing measures, thresholds, interfaces and workflows for payment, gamification, question assignment and other mechanisms that influence workers' behaviour. The second branch focuses on developing statistical models to perform effective aggregation of responses to infer correct responses. The two branches are connected as statistical models (i) provide parameter estimates to support the measure and threshold calculation, and (ii) encode modelling assumptions used to derive (theoretical) performance guarantees for the mechanisms. There are surveys regarding each branch but they lack technical details about the other branch. Our survey is the first to bridge the two branches by providing technical details on how they work together under frameworks that systematically unify crowdsourcing aspects modelled by both of them to determine the response quality. We are also the first to provide taxonomies of quality control papers based on the proposed frameworks. Finally, we specify the current limitations and the corresponding future directions for the quality control research.

How to remake the Foreign Service and embassies for today's world
The most underutilized asset in America’s foreign policy arsenal is its network of embassies, consulates and diplomatic missions around the world — 307 in total. All of them are staffed with some of the brightest and most well-trained Americans the country has to offer. But most of them operate under 20th century and sometimes 19th century assumptions of what ends diplomatic outposts are meant to serve.
Congress should consider that U.S. embassies have the capacity to pursue more national ends than just cable reporting, memo writing, consular services and diplomatic representation. Our embassies should be front-line, “whole of government” satellites for U.S. foreign and economic policy.
Most U.S. embassies are equipped with large political sections and comparatively smaller sections for economics. Much of foreign service officers’ time and effort are consumed with reportage: writing cables to Foggy Bottom on matters of party politics, political personalities, election forecasts, GDP numbers and news cycles.

“I love the world of fashion. The glamour in it attracts me and as a result, my life revolves around things that make the fashion world. I love wearing traditional and modern clothing, I love travelling and I’m a great grocery store, but it often works hard to maintain my health, to keep me in good shape.

I don’t have five things or examples for each, but I will say this: I think that notifying players doesn’t matter to them allows them to let go of the result and steal it.
Doing something is about listening, exploring, and doing. As an actor, he is a lifelong learner of the human experience and the art of understanding. I find when you first start worrying so much about your ability prevents you from being truly present.
As you work and grow, your creativity tends to get better but often people can still get too much into their heads. Understand the script, break it down, and do the same for your character. Once you’ve done the work, let it all go and be there.
If you set the task to you you will respond positively, your lines will be there. Writers often write) with their meaningful words. If it is a well-written script and you blend your lines, there is often a problem in the direction of that script or something in your character. By re-evaluating what you read you often come to a deeper understanding of your character and what’s going on.
Maneuver of china
Posted by Prabhat Pandey | Aug 31, 2020 | Articles on China |
China has tried to strengthen its position in Tibet amid strained relations with Indo-US. Prime Minister Xi Jinping has announced the creation of modern socialist Tibet. This announcement reflects China's fear that Tibetans should not join the wave of separatism. Actually, after the American intervention in Taiwan, China is trying to save the disputed plot. The US is also making strong rhetoric to strengthen its hold on Tibet. Last month, US Secretary of State Mike Ponpio claimed that China blocks American tourists, journalists and people from outside countries in Tibet.
The US had said not to grant visas to some officials who prevent outsiders in Tibet. Actually, the matter moved from Taiwan to Tibet. The US has also raised the issue of the missing Panchen Lama.
Such rhetoric of the US is troubling China and it has become active in strategizing to save Tibet and Taiwan. On the other hand, conditions are becoming challenging for China given India's stern attitude towards Doklam, Aksai Chin, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir. India's foreign minister Jaishankar's statement is also difficult for China that after 1962, the situation on the Indo-China border is the most tense. Time will tell who wins and loses in this diplomatic battle, but India needs to take careful steps in this matter.
It has been more than three-and-a-half months since the Chinese army intruded into the frontier Indian areas of eastern Ladakh, and so far there are indications that China is insistent on finding a middle ground with India to compromise. This means that the Chinese Army will restore the status quo in some areas but will not leave its territory on the Indian side of Depsang, Pangong Tso Lake. The reason for this obstinate attitude of the Chinese Army is that it is aware that the Indian Army cannot dare to take any military action to push it back. The Indian Army itself has indicated this effect, which has further boosted the morale of the Chinese Army. The Indian Army has said publicly that it will take a long time to force the Chinese army to retreat.
India should formulate a strong strategy to achieve something. Tibetan leader Dalai Lama is in India and on that side, anti-Chinese President Donald Trump is also contesting the next presidential election. Trump-Modi's friendship will remain in constant discussion in India-China relations. It has become necessary for India to formulate a solid strategy with respect to China so that India can strengthen its position in Doklam including Leh Ladakh and force China to back down in this matter. Even in the case of Jammu and Kashmir, China can indirectly stop Pakistan's support.
