Title:- issue regarding our designation in GDC udhampur (Boys) in jammu and Kashmir

This article is about our designation in GDC udhampur (boys). Through this article i want to share what difficulties we face in this college. I got a call from this college in January for joining as a lecturer in geology department against vacant post. And next day i went to college for joining, and i started my work. I used to go to college daily there after till lockdown due to covid-19. Its almost 4 months time there is no salary amount credited into our account yet. Now at this when we asked them about salary, they telling us you were taken as guest faculty.

So the issue is that they didn't inform us not a single time that you will take as a guest faculty. And they maintain our attendance as other as other academic arrangement lecturer i.e 9am-3pm we were there in college so how we know all this. Besides all this they consider two faculty member as academic arrangement lecturer and teaching assistant who joined after

me .This is impartiality and how could they do such injustice to us.Some people were inviting as a guest and they are ok with such consideration because they knew that they are working as a guest faculty. But they didn't informed me and there is vacant post in our department thats why they called me to fill that vacancy not due to overburden.Either they consider all of them who joined in mid session as a guest or they consider us also as a lecturer.

We want our right. They cheated us. And don't hear our voice. We want our salary as academic arrangements lecturer. We talked to principal of college but he didn't agree and told us that it will not happen you will only consider as a guest faculty. Even in the lockdown like other academic arrangement lecturers we upload the lectures and material on the platform designed by this college.But they told us you get payment till lockdown I.e Rs 500/day only,even a labourer earned more than this and we are net qualified candidates.This is the value of education in our country.Its almost 5 months time,we are financially Very weak during this lockdown period and not a single rupee credited into our account yet.We want that we get our right and they never do such fraudulent things in future.

Swasthi Foundation

Swasthi Foundation’s operations are broadly divided into three sections. Healthcare, Social Welfare and Environment Protection. The offices of this organization are based in Trivandrum and its operations spread throughout the State of Kerala. Swasthi in its endeavors have received the support of Government Departments, Police, Local Self Government Bodies like the City Corporation , various Non Governmental Organization , Corporate Bodies, Educational Institutions and Socially Conscious Individuals.

Healthcare

Soukhya

Healthcare is one area where Swasthi Foundation has made a mark. It’s healthcare wing Soukhya has partnered with Malayala Manorama to form Snehathalam, a Cancer detection program, which as of date has screened more than one hundred and fifty people for Breast, Oral and Cervical Cancer and advised and assisted in follow ups. The Month Of Pink Lilies, commemorating the World Breast Cancer Month was also held in Trivandrum.

Rakshaka Raksha

This program takes care of the health concerns of the policemen of Kerala State and their families. The camp was launched in Ernakulam and later camps were conducted in Kozhikode, Trivandrum and other cities in Kerala. An eye care camp named Kaval Kanninu Kaval was alsdo run for the policemen and families.

Social and Child Welfare

Snehajyothi

This project aims at bringing out the latent talents in differently abled children and is run with the active collaboration of SAI-LNCPE and the voluntary assistance of various socially conscious organizations. The children are exposed to various arts and sports and monitored for the responses.

Snehajwala

This program is run in collaboration with United Shito Ryu Karate Association and SAI-LNCPE and imparts basic self defense techniques to women, giving them the ability to protect themselves in dangerous situations.

Snehasagaram

This scheme takes care of the healthcare of the fishermen who ventured out to save lives during the floods of Kerala. In 2018.

Environment Protection

Sukhino Bhavanthu

This scheme is aimed at highlighting the degradation of the environment and public cleanliness. Various Government Departments, Police, Local Self Government Bodies like the City Corporation , various Non Governmental Organization , Corporate Bodies, Educational Institutions have co-operated in this venture.

Revive Vellayani

This rich wetland, once the home of abundance of Flora and Variant Fauna, the second largest wetland and fresh water lake in Kerala, is on the thresland of an untimely demise. This would be a major offset to the fragile eco-system and will affect the livelihood and age old lifestyle adversely. It can be said in all fairness that a large percentage of the lake surface is has been covered by weeds, some of which are of foreign origin and unsuitable for the unique environment of the lake. The lake is already lost its visitation of a large number of migratory birds.

Abey George, Gen Secretary, Swasthi Foundation is the key initiator of the drive and is named the Project Coordinator , the overall policy maker of the project .
