On Thursday, a rally was organized by Sarva Samaj on the matter of death of Mahendra Singh Meena, former sarpanch of Lamba. In which the way was blocked at the clock tower of the city. During this time the road was jammed. The demand of the Sarva Samaj is that the accused be arrested soon. Mahendra Meena was the sarpanch of Lamba Panchayat during the last tenure.
On January 25, after the protest outside Saadat Hospital's morchary, the administration was assured of early action. Last Sunday too, the meeting of the Sarva Samaj was held under the chairmanship of District President Ramfool Meena Ghassadi. In the meeting at Meena Hostel, in the three days, there was a warning to start a fixed-time strike at the district level for the arrest of suspects and not taking appropriate action.
It is noteworthy that the body of Mahendra Singh Meena, former sarpanch of Lamba, was found lying on the way between Parasia and Nimola village of Mehandwas police station area. His bike was also found lying in a nearby drain. The milkman passing through the route informed the family about this. Mahendra Singh (35) son Soji Meena, resident of Nimola, was the sarpanch of Lamba Panchayat during the last tenure. Family members said that the police were lax in disclosing the case. It should be expedited.
