CM Gehlot said: Supply chain should not be interrupted under any circumstances.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the government has decided to lockdown the Corona infection to protect the lives of the people. In this hour of crisis, the state government will not let any poor to go hungry. Each family should also provide food for the two poor. Only by helping each other, we will be able to meet this challenge of Corona. Gehlot was reviewing the situation on Wednesday evening through a video conference with the core group and war room officials.
A large number of people from Gujarat border are coming to the border districts of the state. In such a situation, such people should be allowed to go to the destination only after screening. Strong arrangement of the isolation of these people should also be ensured.
Gehlot said that there is no restriction on the buying and selling of grains in the markets. Procurement and registration only at MSP has been postponed. Procurement of agricultural commodities in markets should be continued while ensuring social distancing. CM said that along with humans, we have to care about the life of dumb animals. Due to the lockdown, mute animals and birds are unable to get grain and feed. Grain-water system for pure birds is part of our culture. In such a situation, voluntary and religious organizations and generous people should come forward and take responsibility for the grain and water of these silent animals and birds.
