Diesel new auto will not be registered in 4 cities including Jaipur, Transport Department is preparing after NGT order
The Transport Department is going to take a big decision after the NGT's order for rake on increasing pollution in the state. After Alwar, four cities in the state of Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur and Jodhpur are also preparing to put a rake on 15 years old commercial vehicles of diesel. In these cities, there will be no registration on buying new diesel autos, rickshaws and tampos. LPG kit will also be required for RC renovation of old Auto-Tampo. This arrangement can start from April.
Transport Secretary and Commissioner Ravi Jain said that after the order of the NGT, planning is being done to keep the 15-year-old commercial vehicles of diesel running on the road under the road wise. Let me tell you that there is no rake on the 15-year-old commercial vehicles of diesel-petrol in the state. These vehicles are initially registered for 15 years.
