Due to the lockdown done to prevent corona epidemic, Rajasthan University will no longer have examinations till April 14. The university had earlier postponed the examinations from 19–31 March, which led to 70 papers. Now more than 250 papers will be postponed by the lockdown for 21 days. These include written as well as practical examinations.
The entire examination system of the university has gone awry. The administration says that a new time table will be prepared only after getting instructions from the government. The university had more than 5 lakh students examinations at more than 200 examination centers in Jaipur, Dausa.
RU's post graduation examinations were also scheduled to start from April 1, including MA History, English, Urdu, Philosophy, Public Administration, Hindi, and one to 14 of other subjects including M.Com EAFM, HAM, Business Administration, MSc Chemistry, Maths, Geography. By April, there were about 180 examinations.
At the same time, about 70 papers of BA, BCom, BSc have been postponed in the first graduation from 19 to 31 March. In such a new plan of more than 250 papers will be made. It is worth noting that Rajasthan University's graduation examinations were to be held on May 21 and post-graduation examinations till May last.
No one is allowed to enter the lock down till 14 April. We will talk to the government by 10 April. Further planning will be done on the basis of getting instructions from the government. Due to the postponement of considerable paper, everything will have to be replicated.
