Congress announced the names of its party candidates on Sunday afternoon in the assembly by-elections to be held on October 21 in Rajasthan. In which the Congress party has approved Rita Chaudhary from Mandawa assembly seat of Jhunjhunu. At the same time, Harendra Mirdha has been made party candidate from Khivansar assembly constituency in Nagaur district. Now both these candidates will file nominations on Monday.
Both of these will compete with BJP's candidate Sushila Sigada in Mukbala Mandawa and Narayanlal Beniwal of RLP in Khivansar. Congress candidate Rita Chaudhary and Khivansar nominee Harendra Mirdha come from veteran political families.
RLP chief Hanuman Beniwal won from Narendra Dhangar and Khivansar in Mandawa in the last assembly elections. He defeated the Congress candidates. But, in the Lok Sabha elections, Hanuman Beniwal and Narendra Dhandar from Mandawa were fielded by BJP.
These two won the election of MP. Due to this, the assembly seat from Mandawa and Khivansar was vacated. With this, the by-election was scheduled to be held here on 21 October. Among them, RLP and BJP combine in Khivansar seat.
This seat is considered to be important because now it will be seen whether this seat is given to the members of the Junker Mirdha family as a victory or to win over his brother Narayanlal Beniwal by trusting Hanuman Beniwal.
