Budget health sector highlights...
The medical colleges of Udaipur, Kota, Ajmer and Bikaner will be developed as organ retrieval centers
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has made a provision of Rs 14 thousand 533 crore 37 lakh for all departments related to medical and health in the state budget presented on Thursday. The main focus has been on Nirogi Rajasthan, launched in the year 2019. For this, also announced the formation of the Rs 100 crore Healthy Rajasthan Management Fund. Also, out of this fund, one crore rupees will be given to each district for campaign management, publicity, discussion and organizing seminars. Next year, the government will conduct a digital health survey of the people of the state. Early Intervention Center will be set up at the district level to identify disability.
Announcements made in the budget:
The state hospitals of Pipar City and Phalodi will be given the status of district hospitals.
Mother and Child Care Center will be opened in the State Hospital, Osian.
Trauma centers will be opened in state hospitals of Sanchore in Jalore, Taranagar in Churu district, Sojat in Pali and Lohawat in Jodhupar, Balesar and Bhopalgarh.
Cancer registry system will be introduced for effective monitoring of cancer. In this, registration of cancer patients in state and private hospitals will be mandatory.
Wherever PPP mode will be possible in the district, district hospitals MRI / CT scan facility will be provided. PET CT scan machine will be made available for cancer screening in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner.
Dental Chair With X Ray Machine will be installed in 150 medical institutes. A separate guideline will be issued for their operation.
Announcement to increase total one thousand beds in order to provide better health services in various hospitals of the state.
