LukBiz app - An Indian startup rendering the local markets, Covid-safe!
In the times of covid19 pandemic today while everyone is helping those in need in whatever way they can, there is an upcoming app that is going to catch hold of the sinking scope of the local retailers and service providers, right when it is needed. They humorously describe this application as "a PPE for small businesses".The name of this saviour app is Lukbiz-connecting the local market. The app is a social networking site, not for connecting people but for connecting businesses. The app is crafted such that, you can log into it, for free, either as a customer or as a business owner or service provider. The business owners can create their virtual shop in the name of their profile and showcase their products in the form of pictures and videos and also attract customers by posting daily offers, discounts and schemes. On the other hand a buyer/customer can create their profile, through which they can search for shops or services market-wise, area-wise or product-wise. Also, a buyer shall be able to post it's requirement directly to the admin and get suggestions about the choicest and the most legit shops across the town based on the customer's desire. Not just that, a buyer shall be able to chat with the shopkeeper or call him for queries related to the desired product and also follow the shop to get future notifications.
That is all about a business-buyer connection.
There are options where one can manage two profiles together as a single person, one as a customer and one as a business owner.
This app shall also pump up and support the business-business connectivity or the wholesale market.
It's like 'mother e-commerce', this time, has embraced its long-neglected child 'the local retail market' .
So how exactly is this new app nothing less of a trunk of gold hit while digging mud?
This app is a boon in the times of this deadly pandemic. While the local garment shops, the tailors, the utensil dealers, the furniture walas and so many such countless shop owners are worrying endlessly about when will they have customers flocking into their shops to pick products because there seems to be no end to this pandemic, they might as well now take a chill pill. Also, the people who are missing their favorite local shops, can start jotting down their list of products, the city's entire local market is now going to float on their finger tips.
Lukbiz.com is for sure going to bring about an era of change. Just hang on and wait for this miracle of an app to stream live, use it and watch it save our economy.

Oklahoma city backs off mask mandate after threats, as officials struggle to enforce public health rules - Washington Post
A small city was pushed into the national spotlight after leaders quickly withdrew a mandate to don masks inside reopened stores and restaurants, citing threats of violence and physical abuse directed at employees.
We dont have the kind of police force that can go out and try to deal with every single one of the people who may not be willing to wear the masks, Mayor Will Joyce said Sunday on MSNBC. And so its been a struggle [to] make people understand that wearing that face covering is an easy and an effective way to help slow the spread of this virus. Joyces comments came the same day that Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R), an early proponent of strict statewide social distancing, said he had reversed course on requiring Ohioans to wear masks because people were not going to accept the government telling them what to do. It just wasnt going to work, he said on ABC Newss This Week. You got to know what you can do and what you cant do. Messaging from federal officials on masks has been changing and at times contradictory. Health authorities began recommending last month that all Americans cover their faces in public after previously calling it unnecessary. White House coronavirus task force coordinator Deborah Birx on Sunday called protesters who defy stay-at-home orders and crowd together without masks devastatingly worrisome. Sign up for our Coronavirus Updates newsletter to track the outbreak. All stories linked in the newsletter are free to access. But while some cities and counties mandate masks and even threaten $1,000 fines amid a patchwork of reopening strategies, leaders including President Trump and Vice President Pence have conspicuously not worn them in certain public appearances. (Pence said Sunday that he should have covered his face during a much-criticized visit to the Mayo Clinic recently.) And mask requirements are stirring the same kind of politically charged resistance to broad restrictions on Americans lives that has popped up in angry rallies at state capitols and governors residences, sometimes encouraged by the president. There are a lot of mixed messages out there, Joyce said Sunday on MSNBC, adding that his city reopened along with the rest of Oklahoma to keep people on the same page despite reservations about whether the timing was right for Stillwater. I think it would be best from a nationwide perspective, he added, if we could have a unified message. For some, defiance to mask-wearing has a conservative bent. To many Trump supporters, declining to wear a mask is a visible way to demonstrate that Im a Republican or I want businesses to start up again or I support the president, Robert Kahn, a law professor at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis who has studied Americans attitudes toward masks, told The Washington Post last month. Masks will quickly become the new normal in blue states, but if social distancing continues through 2022, the mentality among Republicans could well change, too, he predicted. If I can go to work and the cost of marginal improvement in my life is wearing a mask, maybe Americans of both parties do accommodate ourselves to it. The mayor of Stillwater, an independent, said the city has encouraged mask-wearing in public for weeks. But havoc broke out the moment officials tried to make doing so mandatory. Joyce amended his emergency declaration on the same day it took effect in response to concerns voiced by business proprietors and citizens, according to a news release. The anger directed toward store employees started in the first three hours businesses were open and included a threat of gun violence, the release said. I hate that our businesses and their employees had to deal with abuse today, and I apologize for putting them in that position, Joyce said in a statement. I am not the kind of person who backs down from bullies, but I also will not send someone else to fight the battle for me. In Stillwater, many people objecting to the mask requirement cited their belief that the rule is unconstitutional, City Manager Norman McNickle said in the news release first reported by the Stillwater News Press. McNickle said wearing a mask is a minor inconvenience that protects the person wearing it and anyone the person encounters. It is unfortunate and distressing that those who refuse and threaten violence are so self-absorbed as to not follow what is a simple show of respect and kindness to others, McNickle wrote, saying that officials could not in good conscience put store and restaurant employees in danger. Stillwaters stores are still asked to at least encourage customers to wear masks, and specific businesses can choose to have more restrictive requirements. Stillwater Police Chief Jeff Watts said in a statement that his department was not pulling over drivers for not wearing masks, responding to complaints about people not wearing face coverings in businesses, or ticketing residents who are not wearing masks in public. Watts said customers and employees of certain kinds of businesses, including salons, barbershops and tattoo parlors, must still wear masks. On Sunday, Joyce whose Twitter account features a picture of him in a cloth face covering posted photos of vitriolic messages he has received criticizing him both for the original mask requirement and for backing off of it. You didnt think we would react to your TYRANT behavior with threats? one message reads. This is a hard time for everyone, he wrote in a tweet thread, offering up his email address to anyone who wants to talk. We may not agree on the way forward. But we can be thoughtful and compassionate to our neighbors. We can try to see and understand their perspective. Aaron Gregg contributed to this report.
Pence: 'I Should Have Worn A Mask' When Visiting The Mayo Clinic - NPR
The vice president's decision to go without a face covering at the health center was met with public rebuke, especially as it violated the clinic's requirements.
Vice President Pence visits with coronavirus survivor Dennis Nelson at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., during a tour of facilities supporting COVID-19 research and treatment Tuesday. Jim Mone/AP Vice President Mike Pence said during a televised town hall on Sunday that he should have worn a mask while visiting the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota last week, in what was an apparent violation of the renowned health center's stated policy. Pence's decision to go without a face covering on Tuesday was met with public rebuke, especially as others visiting with him donned masks. The clinic tweeted and then deleted a message saying it had informed Pence "of the masking policy prior to his arrival today." The clinic's website says "all patients, visitors and staff are required to wear a mask to decrease the risk of COVID-19 exposure." Following the trip, Pence told reporters that he could go without the mask because he is tested regularly for the coronavirus: "And since I don't have the coronavirus, I thought it'd be a good opportunity for me to be here, to be able to speak to these researchers, these incredible health care personnel, and look them in the eye and say 'thank you.'" The statement drew more criticism, since a typical mask doesn't cover one's eyes. Two days later, Pence wore a mask while visiting a General Motors plant in Indiana that's producing ventilators. On Sunday, during a Fox News Channel town hall alongside President Trump, Pence reiterated that he is tested often and does not have COVID-19. "I didn't think it was necessary, but I should have worn a mask at the Mayo Clinic," Pence added. Jim Watson/AFP via Getty Images The town hall featured video questions from viewers, and took place at a unique setting: the Lincoln Memorial, beneath the seated statue of the 16th president. Most of the questions were directed at Trump, who indicated that federal lawmakers would pass additional economic aid for struggling Americans dealing with the effects of the pandemic. "There's more help coming," Trump said, responding to question from a single mother in Alabama who said she has lost her job but hasn't yet received her state unemployment benefits, or her individual cash payment included in an earlier rescue package. "We're going to do more," the president added. Sunday evening's event comes as congressional leaders and the White House lay out their competing visions for an additional coronavirus relief package. Trump said during the town hall that it would need to include a payroll tax cut. Democrats are looking for aid for state and local governments, among other provisions. The U.S. Senate is set to return to the Capitol on Monday, though the House delayed its expected return due to ongoing concern about the health risks of bringing hundreds of lawmakers and their staffs back to Washington. In a rare joint statement released on Saturday, Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell turned down a White House offer of rapid tests for lawmakers after it was reported that the Capitol's attending physician said he would not be able to test all 100 senators coming back for business. At the town hall, Trump was bullish on the rapid development of a coronavirus vaccine, saying he thinks "we're going to have a vaccine by the end of this year" a timetable faster than many public health experts have laid out as plausible. Trump, who's been mostly confined to the White House in recent weeks due to the pandemic, was at Camp David in Maryland this weekend, and he plans to visit a Honeywell facility in Phoenix, Ariz., on Tuesday that is making N95 respirator masks.
