Driving license can be made anywhere
Now a resident of any district can get a driving license anywhere in the state
The State Government is implementing the provisions of the Prohibited Moter Vehicle Act in pieces. Now, on the basis of their permanent address, drivers will be able to get their learning-permanent driving license (DL) and register their vehicles anywhere in all the 53 licensing authority offices across the state.
Rajesh Yadav Order of Transport Commissioner and Secretary of Government issued orders in this regard on Monday. This will provide relief to people working outside the home districts, doing business, jobs, studies etc. Tenants will be able to get DL made by submitting permanent address documents.
If the transport rules are broken, the copy of the challan will be delivered to the permanent address of the driver. After vacating the rental house, the driver will not have to search. Till now, the temporary address had to be legally certified and in such a situation the landlords were not ready to make a temporary residence certificate due to legal complications.

Truck hit the jeep 4 dead

A high speed truck hit a jeep coming from the front between Rajiyasar to Arjunasar on NH 62 in Suratgarh police station area of the district. A family living in village Goluwala of Pilibanga tehsil in Hanumangarh district was returning from Poonrasar Dham. The jeep carried four women, four children and seven men. The accident took place near Rajiyasar at around two in the afternoon. The local people informed the police and took out the people trapped in the jeep. 3 people died on the spot. Locals admitted the injured to nearby towns for treatment from their private vehicles.
Police reached the spot and seized both the vehicles. The truck driver is absconding from the spot. Station in-charge Suresh Kaswan said that the deceased have been identified as Sohanlal, Prahlada and Vimala Devi, residents of Goluwala. The injured include Roshan Swamy, Sheeshpal, Paramjeet and Manpal Singh.
