The accused Pramod and Leena are residents of Malleshwaram, the dentist met their daughter from a dating app and have been in a live-in relationship since then. The accused couple managed to find out the dentist's parent's details including the address.
The accused called the dentist's parents and said that they had photographs and videos of the dentist with their daughter, They demanded Rs 1 crore and said if the demand is not fulfilled they will expose it to the world.
The dentist's parents had given two cheques of Rs 22 Lakh till now and still, they demanded more money being fed up with this they took this matter to the police.
The incident happend on Sunday night when a 35-year-old man broke into the house of a 60-year-old woman's house and tried to misbehave with her.
The woman was sleeping in her house located at Jnanabharathi, the man entered her house and tried to pull her hand and sexually assault her, She screamed for help to which the neighbors rushed to the spot and held the culprit.
The accused name is Shivu and is a resident of Doddabasti, He is now been arrested by Jnanabharathi police officers. According to the police, the woman was a daily wage worker and was tired and slept without properly closing the door. When she was sleeping a man who drunk entered her house and tried to misbehave with her.
The Man as been arrested by the police and a case under section 354 of the IPC as been filed on him.
