Fee Hike Will Ensure JNU Becomes "Elitis दिल्ली
On Tuesday, the CPI(M) Politburo condemned the actions of police against the students of JNU. These students were protesting against hike in hostel fees and said that this increase was done to make the university fall under the list of "elitist". Yelling mottos and raising flags, a large number of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students conflicted with the police on Monday. This left Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ''Nishank'' stranded for more than six hours at the convocation event of university.
"This will just guarantee that JNU will turn into an elitist university as opposed to its present character that encourages students from various background to manage the cost of higher education. As per JNU's yearly report, nearly 40 percent of the students conceded in 2017 had a parental pay of not as much as Rs. 12,000 every month," the gathering said in an announcement. Due this ability of delivering affording education, for the past many years, the University has been able to provide the country with various "socially conscious" citizens and nation builders.

A retired army person, Mukesh Chopra, committed suicide in jail. He was brought into the Tihar Jail by Delhi police for alleged theft. According to an official from the jail, "It's clearly a case of suicide. All new detainee were called to the prison dispensary for counselling on November 7, which was a standard undertaking. Delhi Police caught Mukesh Chopra in a case of burglary on November 2, police sources said. Mukesh Chopra was charged under 411 (dishonestly receiving stolen property) and Sections 380 (theft in dwelling house) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), they included.

All the dirty fuel-based industries in Delhi and its suburbs will remain shut till November 11, Today Supreme Court-mandated anti-pollution authority Environment Pollution (Prevention and Control) Authority or EPCA. EPCA also release extended ban on hot-mix plants and stone-crushers in Delhi-NCR till November 11, as per the Supreme Court. Court banned construction and demolition activities in the region till further orders. EPCA chief Bhure Lal said all coal and other fuel-based industries, should be ban which have not shifted to natural gas or agro-residue, will remain shut in nearby cities to Delhi like Faridabad, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Noida, Bahadurgarh, Bhiwadi, Greater Noida, Sonepat, Panipat till the morning of November 11.
All the industries which have not yet shifted to piped natural gas will not operate during the period in Delhi only. Weather conditions has been reviewed by the Central Pollution Control Board-led task force ad as per the assessment air quality will not improve in the next 48 hours. we may or may not see a possible decline in the pollution as per the chief Bhure lal. EPCA had declared a public health emergency in the Delhi-NCR region last week because of Diwali crackers and stubble burning. Delhi led to increase pollution levels in coming days.

The protest of JNU students outside the AICTE auditorium over fees hike has made the Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal to stuck inside for 3 hours.
Hundreds of students protested out the AICTE auditorium, the HRD minister and Vice president were present inside since they came to attend the third convocation ceremony of JNU.
The Minister was stuck inside till 4:15 pm and had to cancel the other two events that he was supposed to attend at Shastri Bhawan. The official handle of the HRD minister later tweeted that he had talked with the students and will work for solving the problems. The JNU is located just 3 KM's away from the Auditorium and protest was started in the early morning.
The Gates of the auditorium were locked and police personnel was stationed in and out of the auditorium to stop the protesters from the entering the auditorium premises.
The police had to use water cannons to disperse the protesters and some of them were detained.
The incident is of sector 7 of Faridabad where a family of the 65-year-old doctor was killed. The accused name is Mukesh who is a gym trainer and was identified with the help of CCTV footage.
Dr. Praveen was found dead on the ground floor where he runs a clinic, his wife was found dead with a deep cut on her neck on the first floor. On the same floor in the second room, the doctor's daughter and her husband was also found dead.
According to the police, there is no sign of robbery or forced entry, they are tracing the accused. During the investigation, the police called the four suspects for interrogation but one of them did not show up. They went to his and found a pair of blood-soaked trousers, a blood-stained key, and a note. The CCTV footage showed that one man on a grey scooter entered the house at 10:30 pm and left the house at 11:50 pm.
Mukesh in his note said that he went to the house to rob them but ended up killing all the members, he apologized for the police and said that he might commit suicide. Dr. Praveen's son who works in Gurgaon said that he knows Mukesh and has visited their house before.

The AMC as given two-day notice to the contractor to clarify on the issue, according to the complaint the general charges are Rs 30 for four hours but the contractors are charging Rs 100.
The Kankaria zoo director said that they have issued a notice to the contractor and are investigating the case for finding who is at fault. The contractor's name is Sudha Yadav and the company name is Sriram corporation. One of the person who was overcharged said that he is thankful to AMC for taking the action. The public should be aware about their rights and they should check the receipt properly so that they don't get scammed.
Vishal Patel who visited Kankaria Zoo said that he visited the zoo on 12th October and faced the staff which was very rude, they also overcharged him and said that people often come late.
The incident took place in the Vastrapur area where a youth chased a theft and saved a victim from getting loot. The theft had stolen the bag of a woman and was on a run, Akshay Lani used his skills to chase the theft and hand him to the police station.
The victim Kusum sonav was on her way to the client's house, the incident took place near Sanjeevani Hospital in Vastrapur when she was pushed to the ground by a motorcyclist and the theft snatched her bag which contained her mobile and wallet.
She was in a deep shock after the incident, she saw a youth chasing the theft on his bike, She took the nearby auto and followed the direction of the theft.
In her complaint she stated that her saree was tored by the impact of the push, She said the youth Akshay chased the theft and caught the culprit Pathan near Mahalaxmi Crossroads.
An FIR has been filed on the culprit and the entire police department applauded Akshay for his bravery.
A complaint was filed by a businessman against three unidentified persons. The businessman is the resident of Navrangapura and in his complaint, he stated that he and his wife were beaten by a horse rider over a money dispute. He took the horse ride for his children at Law garden.
The businessman Arpit who has cloth shop at Kalupur had taken his family to the Law garden on Friday, His two children's Shiya and Varin urged him to give them a horse ride at Law garden which is a big tourist attraction. The dispute started when the horse owner mentioned that the price of one ride is 100 Rs, arpit insisted that the real rate is only Rs 30.
The argument soon turned violent and the horse owner started beating the businessman, The owner also used abusive words and kicked him. When his wife intervenes, she was beaten up as well.
The police inspector stated that the horse owner lives in Gulbai Tekra and is wanted, they soon will be checking the CCTV footage and will arrest the culprit.
