A couple was arrested by Cybercrime police for scamming a city-based woman for Rs 7.5 Lakh.
According to the victim, she as a dress material business and was contacted by a guy named Ben morris. He claimed to be from London and have proposed her for marraige several times. He also promised the woman that he will be visiting Mumbai this year. As a gift, the person living in London have exported Rolex watch, iPhone 7S, Jewellery, diamond ring, earring and diamond rings.
The woman living in Ahmedabad got a call from a woman who claimed herself to be from the custom department. She said that the parcel is at Delhi and she will need to pay convert charges, GST charges, customs charges of Rs 7.5 Lakhs to clear the delivery. She paid the amount and later realised that she was scammed.
The cybercrime officers arrested a couple from Delhi's Uttam Nagar, the male is from Nigeria and the female is from Nagaland, both were running the scam together.

AMC Raided various societies in the city for mosquito breeding, Nearly 1634 household was identified as a place more conducive for mosquitoes.
Ahmedabad and other cities are going through a dengue epidemic with thousands of patients hospitalized for getting treatment. The raid was conducted as a part of the Anti-mosquito initiative.
The AMC has imposed a penalty on around 141 societies for not taking proper actions to stop mosquito breeding. The AMC has collected Rs 19000 in the form of Penalty. Societies, where stagnant water was found, have been penalized for creating a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
The incident is of Tuesday midnight near Dafnala where a 22-year-old woman who worked as ground staff in Airport was killed by a speeding van.
The woman was working at Singapore Airlines and was returning home. The victim's name is Karishma Sheikh who was a resident of Jamalpur. According to the complaint filed by the woman's maternal uncle, He got to know about his niece's accident at around 3 AM from a phone call.
She was coming home from a scooter which was hit by a milk van coming from behind. The woman had suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot. According to her uncle, she joined the Airlines 15 days back and was doing an afternoon shift, She was the only child of his sister who is a single mother.
The driver ran away from the spot, According to her friends she was a good girl and we had high hopes from here. The police have promised to arrest the culprit soon and a case under the relevant section of IPC as been filed against him.
A police complaint was filed by senior citizens against five people who scammed him for Rs 10.3 Lakhs.
The complaint filed by Markanday Oza (60) stated that In October 2017 he received a call from a woman who claimed herself to be from HDFC life insurance. She presented the old man with a lucrative scheme which promised to give him a 13% return on his deposited amount.
He was impressed by the scheme and agreed to buy the policy. The woman lured the man to buy other attractive policies which again was purchased. When the senior Citizen started asking the woman to pay his commission and bonus the woman started to avoid his questions.
He then contacted HDFC bank, They told him that no such scheme is sold by the bank and they have fired an employee who tried scamming innocent's. He then realized that he was scammed.

The Local court as rejected bail plea of three accused in a Joy ride accident that happend in amusement park, It killed two and injured 29 riders.
The court has rejected bail of Superstar Amusement Park Pvt ltd owner, His Son, and Manager. It is not the first time the bail was rejected, The court rejected the bail of six accused in July Month.
During the hearing of bail, the public prosecutor Sudhir said that this case is very serious in which two people were killed, It was not an accident but a crime. The Amusement park ride was running without any license, the court rejected the bail on the basis of the argument placed by the prosecutor.
The court has given bail to the operators of the ride Kishan Mahanti and Manish Vaghela, Following the accident all the rides in the park have been stopped.
Exactly after one year when North Indians were attacked in Gujarat after a 14-year-old girl was raped by a North Indian person, Once again a son and his father were attacked by a mob in Gujarat who called them Anti-Gujarati.
The incident happend near Vasant Nagar where the mob attacked the Duo as well smashed his BMW car. According to the victim Ashutosh Pandey, the mob would have killed him if one of the attackers would not have recognized him.
According to the police, Pandey was going to his office when a Mob of around 15 people attacked him, They first started abusing him and called him Anti-Gujarati. They threatened him to leave Gujarat otherwise they will kill his whole family. Asutosh also lost a gold chain worth Rs 60,000 when the mob attacked him and his car.
The Police said that the attack happens due to Ashutosh's wife being a Chairman and one of the people did not like a Non-Gujarati person handling society affairs. The Police are investigating the case and no arrest made till now.
A complaint was filed against an unknown person who conducted a cyber fraud against a 20-year-old woman. The man promised the woman to give a job at Sardar Vallabhai Patel airport.
The victim's name is Neha Vishwakarma and is educated till 12th class, She lives in Kubernagar of Gujarat. She paid Rs 1.6 Lakh to the culprit over a period of 2 months for getting a job as a checking supervisor.
The Victim's father who is a carpenter saw a newspaper advertisement of Airport job, they contacted at the given number and were attended by a woman named Priya Sharma who claimed herself to be from Airport. The woman asked the girl to pay Rs 1500 as registration charges and a biodata.
The family was charged at various occasions, They charged Rs 10,000 for uniform, Rs 20,000 for ID card, Rs 50,000 for a family tour they were planning for new joiners. The accused stop taking a call once they collected Rs 1.6 Lakhs.
Upon Inquiry, at Airport it was revealed that no such job exists and then the girl's parents realized that they were scammed to which they filed a police complaint.

The incident is of March 2006 when police found a sack containing the dead body of the person named Ran Singh in the sea just behind the Raj Bhavan, the relatives have filed a complaint in Malabar Hills police station.
The investigation has revealed that the victim was killed by two men who belong to his village, the accused Satpal Nathusingh Walmiki and Babaji Walmiki killed Ran Singh after that they dumped his body in Sea and fled the city.
With passing time the accused became confident that they will not get caught and started visiting their native place frequently When police send their team they got to know that the accused Satpal as started living in Krishna colony (Harayana). The police arrested him from his home later he also gave the address of Babaji who was caught as well from his Delhi flat.
Teacher's of tribal school has filed a complaint with PWD but no action has been taken till now. The student's of tribal school have no drinking water from three days, water tankers had to be called for meeting drinking water need.
According to the teacher they have written about this issue to Public works department but they did not take any action, The motor which draws water has stopped working and PWD needs to repair it as soon as possible.
The school serves around 1500 students and imparts education in Marathi, Hindi and Tamil. Parents of the student complain that although they give water bottle to their child, Once the water is over they have to remain thirsty and wait till they reach home to drink water.
Students also do not have water to wash their hand after eating food, playing sports. School management denied the charges and said that they procure tankers from BMC and food is supplied by mid-day meal only for toilet they have a problem on which we are working.
From April 2019 to September 2019 there have been 1021 incidents of illegal chain pulling which caused a delay of 16000 minutes to Indian Railway.
According to the data of the Central railway, From 800 cases (April 18 to Sep 18) to 1021 cases (April 19 to Sep 19) there has been a rise of 13.5% in the chain pulling cases where a traveller without any genuine reason pulled the chain.
According to the railway officials, Five external factors such as chain pulling, delays at level crossings, law and order problems, miscreant activities and removing the bodies of people run over by the train are some of the reason for train delays.
According to the data, most of the chain pulling happend because some people were unable to get down from the train who came to leave their relatives, Overcrowding of the train is also another reason. Darbhanga Express train, Kamayani express, Gorakhpur godan express, Konkan railways are most affected trains.

The Sindh govt has decided to lodge a petition against the Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on the controversial Chashma-Jhelum (CJ) Link Canal to allow the construction of a hydropower project.The Sindh govt will address the issue in the cabinet meeting scheduled for Tuesday at the Sindh Secretariat, according to private sources for development.The provincial authorities have already protested against the involvement of the federal body in the year-round release of water in the canal rather than just flooding periods.
"Sindh faces a severe water crisis already. We're not going to let anyone build a power station on the Chashma-Jhelum canal," Minister of Agriculture Ismail Rahu told The Express Tribune.
"How can IRSA accept an issue beyond its mandate? The Council of Common Interests (CCI) will determine it," Sindh Irrigation Secretary Saeed Ahmed Mangnejo said while vowing to protest the move at each forum.
