A 50-year-old diamond polisher commits s अहमदाबाद
Another Diamond polisher who was unemployed for the past six months commits suicide on Friday.
The name of the person who died is Magan Dudhat and is a resident of Arjun Nagar society in Punagam area of the surat city. He was working at a private company as a diamond polisher at Varachha. The family member of Magan said that a few month's ago he was forced to leave the company without giving any reason.
Magan was searching for a job but could not succeed and was in depression, He left behind his wife Nita, two daughters and a son who studies in a private school. According to Subinspector he had worked as a diamond polisher in several companies but was not able to get a job this time. Seeing his wife and daughters earning he might not able to sit idle and for that, he could have taken this step.
Magan and his family had returned from their village after attending a funeral, When they came back he locked himself in the kitchen and hanged himself. His wife and daughters called neighbours and police. Puna police took charge of Magan’s body and sent it to SMIMER hospital for postmortem.

The Cyber cell has exposed a fake job scandal and has arrested five people from Delhi. They were running a call centre in Delhi for scamming people in Ahmedabad.
The scammers were publishing the fake job advertisement in various newspaper, once the aspirant used to call them they were then demanding huge money. On the basis of the information, the Delhi police have formed a team and sent them to Delhi for raiding various locations. They arrested five people from a call centre in Delhi's Uttam Nagar.
The accused name is Anita, Nita, Sayeen, Seemakumari and Aarti. Praveen Malik who is wanted in this case used to own this call centre, Sayeen had 20% profit in this business and used to share fake job advertisements in Newspapers.
14 Phones, 16 sim cards, 6 registers and 1 laptop have been seized by the police officers. The call centre scam was mostly active in Maharastra, Uttarpradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Madhyapradesh.
A couple was arrested by Cybercrime police for scamming a city-based woman for Rs 7.5 Lakh.
According to the victim, she as a dress material business and was contacted by a guy named Ben morris. He claimed to be from London and have proposed her for marraige several times. He also promised the woman that he will be visiting Mumbai this year. As a gift, the person living in London have exported Rolex watch, iPhone 7S, Jewellery, diamond ring, earring and diamond rings.
The woman living in Ahmedabad got a call from a woman who claimed herself to be from the custom department. She said that the parcel is at Delhi and she will need to pay convert charges, GST charges, customs charges of Rs 7.5 Lakhs to clear the delivery. She paid the amount and later realised that she was scammed.
The cybercrime officers arrested a couple from Delhi's Uttam Nagar, the male is from Nigeria and the female is from Nagaland, both were running the scam together.
AMC Raided various societies in the city for mosquito breeding, Nearly 1634 household was identified as a place more conducive for mosquitoes.
Ahmedabad and other cities are going through a dengue epidemic with thousands of patients hospitalized for getting treatment. The raid was conducted as a part of the Anti-mosquito initiative.
The AMC has imposed a penalty on around 141 societies for not taking proper actions to stop mosquito breeding. The AMC has collected Rs 19000 in the form of Penalty. AMC found that most of the breeding was taking place in Air conditioners, water tanks, sinks and terraces of the societies. Societies, where stagnant water was found, have been penalized for creating a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

The incident is of Tuesday midnight near Dafnala where a 22-year-old woman who worked as ground staff in Airport was killed by a speeding van.
The woman was working at Singapore Airlines and was returning home. The victim's name is Karishma Sheikh who was a resident of Jamalpur. According to the complaint filed by the woman's maternal uncle, He got to know about his niece's accident at around 3 AM from a phone call.
She was coming home from a scooter which was hit by a milk van coming from behind. The woman had suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot. According to her uncle, she joined the Airlines 15 days back and was doing an afternoon shift, She was the only child of his sister who is a single mother.
The driver ran away from the spot, According to her friends she was a good girl and we had high hopes from here. The police have promised to arrest the culprit soon and a case under the relevant section of IPC as been filed against him.
A police complaint was filed by senior citizens against five people who scammed him for Rs 10.3 Lakhs.
The complaint filed by Markanday Oza (60) stated that In October 2017 he received a call from a woman who claimed herself to be from HDFC life insurance. She presented the old man with a lucrative scheme which promised to give him a 13% return on his deposited amount.
He was impressed by the scheme and agreed to buy the policy. The woman lured the man to buy other attractive policies which again was purchased. When the senior Citizen started asking the woman to pay his commission and bonus the woman started to avoid his questions.
He then contacted HDFC bank, They told him that no such scheme is sold by the bank and they have fired an employee who tried scamming innocent's. He then realized that he was scammed.
The Local court as rejected bail plea of three accused in a Joy ride accident that happend in amusement park, It killed two and injured 29 riders.
The court has rejected bail of Superstar Amusement Park Pvt ltd owner, His Son, and Manager. It is not the first time the bail was rejected, The court rejected the bail of six accused in July Month.
During the hearing of bail, the public prosecutor Sudhir said that this case is very serious in which two people were killed, It was not an accident but a crime. The Amusement park ride was running without any license, the court rejected the bail on the basis of the argument placed by the prosecutor.
The court has given bail to the operators of the ride Kishan Mahanti and Manish Vaghela, Following the accident all the rides in the park have been stopped.

Teacher's of tribal school has filed a complaint with PWD but no action has been taken till now. The student's of tribal school have no drinking water from three days, water tankers had to be called for meeting drinking water need.
According to the teacher they have written about this issue to Public works department but they did not take any action, The motor which draws water has stopped working and PWD needs to repair it as soon as possible.
The school serves around 1500 students and imparts education in Marathi, Hindi and Tamil. Parents of the student complain that although they give water bottle to their child, Once the water is over they have to remain thirsty and wait till they reach home to drink water.
Students also do not have water to wash their hand after eating food, playing sports. School management denied the charges and said that they procure tankers from BMC and food is supplied by mid-day meal only for toilet they have a problem on which we are working.

Over 100,000 outlets of benami land worth billions of rupees have been found by the deputy commissioners (DCs), it emerged on Sunday. Sources reported that DCs submitted a report to the Office of the Prime Minister and demanded that the authorities recognize the country's benami property.
DCs working in all provinces and the federal capital have listed more than 100,000 outlets of benami property worth billions of rupees, sources said, adding that Sindh is home to a large number of these benami properties.
Reports further reported that the PM Office sent the report for further action to the chairman of the Federal Revenue Board (FBR).
It is important to note here that before September 30 the Premier directed DCs to submit a report on benami properties. FBR has set up three specific benami zones in the state, not only defining the property, but also filing references against the receivers.
